Road construction as part of the reconstruction of the Tondi intersection
Road construction works as part of the construction of a multi-level intersection for the Tondi rail crossing, summer 2023 – winter 2024. Redevelopment of the Tondi rail crossing to an underpass will help to make traffic smoother and safer. New cycling lanes were created in addition to new traffic lanes, which will make access to the rail platform convenient and safe.
Tondi Street and the section between Kotka and Tedre Street got a makeover as well. The main contractor for the construction project is LEONHARD WEISS OÜ.
Earthmoving works at the Selja ecoduct
Landscaping and earthworks at Selja ecoduct, 2023-2024. We performed bulk material refilling and planning for the building of the ecoduct and planned the revegetation of the slopes of the ecoduct. The ecoduct with an 85 m long tunnel and a 75 m long animal crossing area enables the coherence of the green infrastructure and enables animals to move over the planned railroad. The Selja ecoduct is in Kehtna parish, around 2.5 km Southwest of the borough of Järvakandi.

Road construction works as part of the complete overhaul and straightening of the Kaarepere-Tartu railway section, 2023-2025. LEONHARD WEISS VIATER OÜ performs railway straightening as part of the complete overhaul of the Kaarepere-Tartu railway section in 2023–2025. The straightening of the Kaarepere-Tartu railway section is the second biggest project of this kind in Estonia and one of the biggest railway reconstruction projects Leonhard Weiss VIATER OÜ has performed so far. This work will correct the geometry of the railway and create new embankments that will enable the trains to speed up to 160 km/h. The project involves digging out, filling, planning, and landscaping, together with renewing all the necessary railway infrastructure. This project will be a significant improvement in the quality of connection between Tallinn and Tartu, offering the passengers faster, more convenient, and more effective transportation. The main contractor for the construction project is LEONHARD WEISS OÜ.
