Road maintenance during the summer months

We will perform different cleaning and titivation works related to road maintenance, fix potholes, fill cracks and joints, look after the ground surrounding the road, clean ditches, maintain culverts, and perform dust prevention.

• Fixing of road surface, potholes, cracks, and joints, using the Blow-Patch method
• Maintenance of road shoulders - lowering the road shoulder, planning, and filling
• Fixing of road barriers - fixing and replacement of worn or damaged road barriers
• Building and maintenance of culverts - building new culverts, cleaning flow paths, fixing culvert damage, isolation works, and reinforcing and maintaining culverts
• Maintenance of service facilities - maintenance of parking lots, rest areas, storage areas, bus stops, and other service facilities, including the service and fixing of equipment (benches, tables, rubbish bins)
• Cleaning - removing dust, mud, and remains of antiskid treatment material from the road surface, removing foreign objects from roads and areas around the roads, covering “sweating” road sections with screenings
• Maintenance of equipment used for regulating traffic - cleaning and fixing, and if necessary, replacement of traffic signs, road signs, bollards, and protective barriers
• Grading of gravel roads and laying new wear layer - grading, filling of holes and ditches, profiling the top layer
• Dust prevention - dust prevention services for gravel roads and parking lots with CaCl2
• Maintenance of roadside areas - chopping and removal of brush, cutting trees, trimmer-work, and mowing with a tractor
• Maintenance of road embankment and ditches - fixing possible damage, cleaning of water flow paths and ditches
