The quality and safe use of a railway is ensured by the installation of modern communications and protection systems, especially in the light of increasing traffic speeds. LEONHARD WEISS carries out all the construction and installation work in the field of railway electricity and signalling systems both as part of railway construction services and as a separate service. To carry out the necessary work, we have the latest technology and a qualified team.
We offer building overhead contact lines and control thereof in Estonia and with our partners in the Baltic countries and Scandinavia, as well. We install track cable lines, overhead contact lines and electric networks, track automation equipment, railway signalling systems (pole-mounted signals, dwarf signals and signal bridges) and other outdoor equipment, and we source and manufacture the necessary materials. We carry out installation work of equipment cabinets, containers and foundations of the railway communications and protection system, both as part of railway construction services and as a separate service. We ensure future infrastructure. Our well-trained personnel, modern machine fleet and specialised knowledge enable us to also complete the most complex railway projects.

A contact overhead line is an integral part of electrified rail transport, the importance of which is growing in Europe. The main work is related to renovation of depreciated sections from the Soviet time and construction of modern sections to reduce CO2 pollution. In addition we construct supports and foundations for overhead contact lines and perform cabling work. In cooperation with partners, LEONHARD WEISS has the knowledge, skills and technical means to complete the construction, repair and maintenance of the overhead contact lines.
